Expedition Hosts
Dave, Donna and Wes Brooks
Through worship and speaking in churches, conferences and special gatherings, their passion is leading people into God’s presence—to experience His power, and know His peace.
Songs written by Donna Jaree Brooks are rooted in prophetic worship, also drawing from clinical experience working with hurting individuals as a psychotherapist (LCPC). Her songs have been recorded by Legacy 5, Doug Anderson, Grammy-nominated recording artist Karen Peck & New River and many others. In addition to THREE O’CLOCK SESSION recordings, she contributed vocally and played keyboards on Altar Fire, a spontaneous, contemplative worship experience recorded with Kevin Zadai, released in 2020.
For many years, Dave managed WCIC, a Dove Award-winning Christian music radio station serving Central Illinois. A fourth generation ministry leader/speaker, he has more than 20 years of experience as an on-air personality. Prior to radio, Dave traveled full-time in music ministry across the United States and also in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and China. He enjoys consulting and is trained as a leadership coach.
Wes desires to explore the wonders of life and the glory of God through creativity. Alongside music, he is involved in filmmaking and is nearing completion of his university studies, majoring in English & writing. He loves his friends, family and being a part of the Body of Christ in ministry.
Special Guest: Dean Braxton
Dean Braxton has been sharing his testimony of how he died for one hour and 45 minutes and was miraculously prayed back to life and restored to vibrant health. During his experience in Heaven, he was told by Jesus, “No, it is not your time. Go back!”
He gives the modern Church a glimpse into an eternal place that few get to see and then return and tell about. The things he has seen and describes are scripturally based and incredibly challenging to those who have their mind made up about what lies beyond.
His story has been featured on Sid Roth's "It's Supernatural", Jewish Voice Ministries International, Biography Channel, Discovery Channel, (TBN) Trinity Broadcasting Network and CBN (Christian Broadcasting Network) and has encouraged many to give their hearts to the Lord, Jesus Christ.
When you hear Dean tell of his heavenly experience and open the scriptures, you'll have a renewed sense of the immense depth of God's love for each of us.
Dean Braxton is a licensed minister and has been in ministry for over 30 years. He has been happily married to Marilyn for over 35 years and they enjoy spending time together. He has six adult children, 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
